Tredrizzick

Location: Tredrizzick

Renovation projects don’t get much deeper and dirtier than our barn conversion in Tredrizzick on the North Cornish coast.
Our clients fell in love with this dilapidated barn, nestled quietly away on the edge of the village. Covered in vines and in a state of near collapse, they could see its true potential – as could we. In order to retain much of the original building and beautiful stonework, great care was taken during our design stages. Working closely with the structural engineer, this was achieved whilst maintaining the building’s structural integrity.
New and existing openings now breathe new life and regulate warmth into the barn, which benefits from thermally efficient glazing, whilst the walls have been upgraded with high levels of insulation which surpass current standards.
With the countryside on its doorstep and just a short walk to the wild open sea of Polzeath bay, the barn has been lovingly recrafted into the perfect Cornish bolthole.

More of what we do…
